Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Katalyst handles information through its Odoo and QuickBooks Online integration. The integration is for authorized business use.

Information we process

The integration can process business contact information and accounting records stored in Odoo or QuickBooks Online. This information can include customer and vendor names, contact details, products, invoices, bills, payments, accounts, taxes, and inventory information. The integration also stores the authorization tokens and company identifier needed to connect the two systems.

How we use information

We use this information to synchronize approved records between Odoo and QuickBooks Online, reconcile accounting activity, maintain business records, and investigate synchronization errors. We do not use information from this integration for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Storage and sharing

Information is processed in Katalyst's Odoo environment and Intuit's QuickBooks Online service. Data moves between these systems through Intuit's official API over encrypted HTTPS connections. Authorized Katalyst personnel and service providers can access information only when needed to operate, secure, or support these systems.

Retention

Business and accounting records remain in Odoo and QuickBooks Online according to Katalyst's record-retention requirements and applicable law. Connection tokens remain in Odoo until the connection is revoked, replaced, or removed. Technical logs can retain record identifiers and error details for troubleshooting.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted network connections, and system monitoring to protect information. No system can guarantee complete security.

Your choices

An authorized administrator can disconnect the integration or revoke its access through QuickBooks Online. Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information are subject to applicable accounting and legal retention requirements.

Changes to this policy

We can update this policy when the integration or our information practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
